How We Got Started
As dog parents ourselves, we were looking for healthy treats for our dogs. We thought our needs were simple: treats made with quality ingredients and that were good for our dogs at affordable prices. We quickly realized this was hard to find.
Not being able to settle for products that could potentially harm our fur babies, we took it upon ourselves to make treats for them and they absolutely loved them!
After a few years of selling treats we decided to become a non-profit and donate all our profits to individual rescuers and shelters that need help.

Being able to provide dogs with a healthy choice of treats meant the world to us but we still had one concern; shelter dogs. That’s why anytime you buy a Berry Nutty product you are directly contributing to helping rescue animals!
What We Believe In
Biologically Appropriate Treats
Dogs share 99% of their DNA with wolves and have practically the same digestive systems. This means that dogs and wolves should have very similar diets.
That’s why we believe in feeding biologically appropriate food. The concept is simple: replicate the freshness and variety that dogs would naturally hunt in the wild!
Since vitamins and especially minerals are easily broken down by heat we dry our treats at low temperatures to maintain their nutrient content. We also cook in small batches to guarantee maximum freshness.
